Saying Goodbye-

Final Day. Gave tips and said goodbyes to all our favorite staff members, had breakfast, packed and then ate lunch including ginger chicken and snapper in a cream sauce. (both excellent)

It was sad to leave but we know we will be back. We had an excellent week and used our time wisely.

On our trip back to the airport, I had a lot of time to reflect on the time I spent here this week.

I felt true love for the Jamaican people and I was saddened to think about how many people back home that do not feel and see things how these people do.

It made me realize how rushed our lives our, how we don't take the time to sit back once in a while and smell the roses.

I've been to a few different tropical places in my life. Some have been extremely beautiful but what made my trip was the beauty of the people.

The generosity and kindness shown in Jamaica made me realize that if we all made this small effort, how much better our world would be.

And this was when I realized what 'One Love' was.

They say Disney is magical? This place is what true magic is.

This is the Jockey factory. Abbey told us that they help out schools in the area.

Once we arrive at the airport and wait in line, we were randomly checked and they searched through our luggage in front of everyone. Of course, I had an undergarment fall out in plain view. (wow, embarrassing)

We were then told by Air Jamaica that our flight would be delayed for 4 HOURS!!

It was depressing to hear Continental call for Newark NJ around the same time we were supposed to leave. :(

Air Jamaica gave us a meal comp for $8.00 a piece and some woman had 2 free coupons for Margaritas so I said, 'what the heck'

Shortly before we finally departed, I remembered that Libby from Chef Tours works by gate 12. She is the one who I learned about Sandy Bay Basic School from. We were fortunate enough to meet her.

It was the most wonderful vacation we have ever had. The Sunset at the Palms is a highly recommended resort and Negril is magical.

Tax time can't come soon enough! Till next year!
