| Hangin' at
the resort-
This is the ala carte restaurant menu 1st page- We really went a little overboard and ordered 4 appetizers, coconut pumpkin soup, salad.. all delicious especially the Chicken Salpicon. (favorite for both of us) The coconut pumpkin soup was also delicious. |
|
|
This is the 2nd part of the menu- We both ordered the Beef Anglothai. This was one of the best pieces of meat I have ever tasted. It was a juicy filet mignon with just the right amount of spices and sauce. The steamed fresh veggies on the side were a perfect compliment to the meat. I could not have asked for a better meal. No room for dessert this time. |
|
| The decor and ambiance was so romantic. Everything besides this low glowing chandelier was candle lit. Of course, pictures don't compare to the actual.. |

| This is part of the restaurant.
(bad picture)
The timing between courses was perfect. No long waits at all. Be sure to order to your heart's content. Each course is 'gourmet'. (small) |

After dinner, we went to the buffet dining room for an after dinner drink and to hear the Jamaican Cowboy. Our waitress was Deloris. She was the most excellent waitress and we really took a liking to her. She's such a sweetheart.

| This performance by the Jamaican cowboy was magical. His voice melted through me. He sings some cover songs like Elvis, and some Blues but he also performs some originals as well. I bought both of his cds. He has one of the most soulful, beautiful voices I have ever heard in my life and it was an honor to listen to him in person. Don't miss him! |
|
| The Jamaican Cowboy's partner
plays a box drum and sings backup.
We also met a waiter named Donald. If you have any questions about the real Jamaica and want to know more about the culture, ask either Donald or Diago. They were very informative.

After the cowboy, we headed back over to the pool bar where we met Chris and Liz. They were honeymooning at SATP. We clicked with them and hung out together quite a few times. I also 'met' them on Trip Advisor prior to the trip. Aren't they cute?? |
